David Clarke, CPA

David N. Clarke, CPA is the managing member of Clarke & Associates, LLC.

David first came to the islands after receiving his BS in Accounting in 1989 directly out of college working as an accountant and tax preparer for a local Enrolled Agent.

In hopes to pursue his CPA credentials he moved back to new England and successful passed the CPA exam in his first sitting in 1999. Afterwards he worked for a regional CPA firm in new England where he garnered experience in all facets of accounting from audit to tax preparation for individuals and all entities.

After this brief hiatus David returned to the Big Island in 2006 where he knew he belonged. Soon after he opened his practice in 2010 and continues to provide the same professional excellence to the community at large.

David serves as the Treasurer for the Kona Community Hospital Auxiliary as well as having served on the boards of several other local non-profit entities and providing pro bono services.

In his free time, you may encounter David on the golf courses and hiking trails of the Kona coast, and spending time with his wife and two children.
